of Tropical Medicine in Bombay has made considerable progress. The scheme, though but recently announced in the public press, has been maturing for nearly three years?in fact, it was first proposed by Major W. Grlen Liston, c.i.e., I.M.S., in July 1911. In a few words the scheme is as follows:?(1) Development and expansion of the existing Bombay Bacteriological Laboratory at Parel; (2) building of the King Edward Memorial Hospital in close proximity to the Laboratory.
